Several Dallas ISD trustees tried unsuccessfully Thursday to remove the board president as chairman of the meeting to set a date to discuss the superintendent’s performance.
Trustees Joyce Foreman, Elizabeth Jones and BernadetteNutall say board chairman Miguel Solis missed a deadline to conduct a meeting they requested in February to discuss Superintendent Mike Miles.
The three trustees have been critical of Miles’ performance.
